Assuming that you are travelling to Negombo you have to reserve at The Gateway Hotel Airport Garden by Taj. The hotel looks like is recently renovated and the rooms are very clean. In general everything was professional and friendly.

I have booked the room for 3 days with my spouse. Beds were comfy and the room was normally clean. The employees were being very handy and welcoming and every day made us feel welcome. Rooms are spacious and also the closet. The bathroom have been pretty clean and the shower was good. Not an extremely social hotel but maybe was only during our stay.

This hotel was definitely centrally positioned and the staff at the reception were there at any hrs. The beds ended up comfy and the people in the hotel have been generally respectful with each other so the atmosphere was ok.The air conditioning was on and off, but wasn´t a problem. Very wonderful hotel and fantastic area. I Absolutely advise this hotel!
